Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EchoFM mobile app and related services. By using EchoFM, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

EchoFM is a player and directory for internet radio stations and podcasts. Stations are listed from the community-run Radio Browser directory; podcast search and discovery is powered by Podcast Index. All audio content streams or downloads directly from the broadcasters and podcast publishers who host it.

2. Third-party content

EchoFM is an aggregator, not a content creator. We do not host, own or control the radio streams or podcast episodes available through the app and are not responsible for their content, availability or accuracy. Rights in that content belong to the respective broadcasters and publishers. If you are a rights holder and want a station or podcast removed from EchoFM's listings, contact us via our contact form and we will act promptly.

3. Accounts

Signing in (with Google) is optional. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or block accounts that abuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or violate these Terms.

4. Premium subscriptions

EchoFM Premium is a charge for app features only — such as removing ads, exclusive themes and offline downloads. It is not a charge for radio stations or podcasts: all content available in EchoFM streams free for every user, Premium or not. We do not own, license or control that third-party content (see Section 2), so a Premium subscription does not grant any rights to it, and the continued availability of any particular station or podcast is not part of what a subscription provides — broadcasters and publishers may change or withdraw their content at any time.

• EchoFM Premium is a recurring subscription purchased through Google Play, which handles billing, renewal and cancellation.
• You can cancel any time in your Google Play subscription settings; Premium remains active until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app for unlawful purposes or in violation of third-party rights;
• interfere with, disrupt or overload the app's services or the servers of the broadcasters and publishers it connects to;
• rip, re-distribute or commercially exploit streams or episodes accessed through the app beyond what the rights holder permits;
• reverse engineer the app except where permitted by law.

6. Disclaimer and liability

EchoFM is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees about the availability, reliability or accuracy of the app or of third-party streams and podcasts. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

7. Changes to the service or Terms

We may modify or discontinue features at any time, and may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use of EchoFM after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
